After we once get them on death row, we could spend another three million dollars on appeals. On the other side of the coin, there are two issues we can look at, 1) we are taking revenge and taking a life, 2) it only costs us twenty one thousand dollars a year to house said prisoner. He could die a natural death or be killed by another prisoner and not make it until old age. And at this point, that soul will be saved. I would rather leave his judgment to the perfect judge. I’ve been asked about abortion: is that killing? All life is precious whether in the womb, nine minutes old or ninety years old. We couldn’t wait to execute Timothy James McVeigh who was convicted of bombing the Alfred P. Murrah Building in Oklahoma City on April 19, 1995. W could have saved millions and millions of dollars if we had not prosecuted him for the death sentence and just gave him life in prison without parole. Just maybe he would have told us of the accomplices. Just maybe, over time, his conscience would come alive and he would ask, on his knees, for forgiveness. Only God could judge him, not I. I happen to believe that life is precious. How can we justify taking any life at all. Please tell your friends and relatives to visit this website as we need their votes.
