Oil and Other Energy

Our state started out on horsepower, advanced into electric and steam power, coal and wood, then into oil. The Brea Tar Pits, bugs, and belching. Always been something to eat the oil and something to eat the little guys that eat the oil. The oil would coagulate on the beaches of the rivers and oceans and the Indians used it to water proof their canoes and other buildings and materials.

Oil was put on earth by our creator as a gift for us; some will say oil is a false gift, and a deficit to our planet. I say to them, if the good Lord, did not want us to have oil, he would never have put it here for our use. This does not mean that we should not keep our air as clean as possible, for when you burn oil, you create smoke. Another gift the lord gave us was the sun, the mountains, and the environment. And if you have enough smoke boxed in with a gas called “ozone” that is caused by rain, the sun will cause ozone to change and becomes smog. Smog is bad for you. The creator gave us brains and we came up with the Cadillac converter, it re-burns the smoke.

Right now, we have windmills, and the only way they are cost effective is the same as the taxpayer paid for part of your new car by giving it the clunker program, and any time the government spends money, it is a deficit instead of a positive. It costs more to have wind and solar power than it produces, without tax-payers money; it is not feasible, it is a big negative, a huge loss. On the other hand, oil and steam are a positive and the government does not have to subsidize it.

Because the world runs on oil, not on solar, not on windmills, if they were profitable, private enterprise would be tying them up; the big companies would have massive fields producing energy on their own. But on the contrary, any of these must be subsidized by the taxpayer, so the taxpayer not only pays for the energy but also pays for production of the energy, putting us in the red.  But at the present, the world runs on oil. And if, God forbid, we had our oil cut off from us, we would have all the terrible things happen to us that they say would happen from global warming, we wouldn’t have the power to refrigerate our food, or operate the tractors to obtain our food, or have lights, the state would be in a terrible dilemma without oil.

For this reason, as your Governor, I will encourage the oil companies to drill for oil and keep those oil wells primed and ready to go, if ever our oil supply is cut off by the world

READY OIL

All oil sites must be in a “Ready” condition at all times and kept primed at all times.  If we are cut off from the World Oil supply; we must be ready!  All possible oil sites must be drilled and made ready.  For this the land-owners should be given a percentage of the take.  All land owners that will be affected by oil smells or unsightly wells with heavy traffic or pipelines, should be compensated.
