IDEAS FOR A BETTER ECONOMY
$100 - 600 BILLION IN DEBT AND 10 – 10% UNEMPLOYMENT – 10% OUT OF WORK WHO CANNOT DRAW UNEMPLOYMENT
WHAT CAN BE DONE? THE PRESCRIPTION IS AS OLD AS MAN:
1. CUT half of the Government as possible;
a. CUT restrictions and fees on new buildings;
b. CUT or eliminate fees for Patents (see #5);
c. CUT or eliminate restrictions/fees for companies doing business in California (see # 4);
d. Call all government fees and charges by their real name “TAXES” and CUT or eliminate them if possible;
e. All Government entities must ask themselves “Is this in any way going to slow economic growth? If so, DON’T DO IT;
2. Have the lowest Taxes in the Nation;
3. Keep the money in the Public’s hands;
a. They will spend it wisely and our economy will GROW!
b. More sales-tax income; CUT to the bare bones.
4. CUT all government restrictions temporarily and offer incentives for business and manufacturing to come back to California.
a. No Taxes for a number of years (TBD) depending on how many jobs they will bring. b. Eliminate hidden fees (TAXES!) all together.
c. By lifting restrictions temporarily, businesses and corporations may flourish and get the economy going, you’ll get it back in Sales Taxes, big time.
d. Grant incentives to companies who only do business in and for California.
5. Cal. Patent Fast Track Patent Procedures for California;
a. Alleviate the requirements making the process more layman friendly;
b. Provide grants or other incentives for Inventors;
6. Revise the current procedure for obtaining a Fast Track BUILDING PERMIT:
a. Permits should be granted on a 1st come1st serve basis not based on someone’s who knows someone on the inside, so to speak.
IF YOU DON’T IT’S THE OTHER WAY AROUND, LARGER GOVERNMENT = LARGER TAXES AND WE ALL GO INTO DEBT! EDUCATION PROMOTE honesty, truth, do not steal etc... , and in 20 years you’ll have a more honest and truthful Government. Teach the value of having principles at home, school, and work. Government ,without this teaching, has, is and will produce corruption, and a Government of cheaters and liars. ZONING: # 1 PRIORITY STATE OF EMERGENCY: Call a “State of Emergency” All State Pensions will be cut to the a States Private Sector Average. All Government workers will be asked to work Part-time to cut the Payroll, including Legislators and Senators working for ½ their pay. As they must set the “Example” for others. If anybody should get ½ pay or ½ work week the Legislators and Senators need to set the “Example” and tighten the belt. They can buy their own cars, pay for their own gas and upkeep REALLY TIGHTEN THE BELT! Where are all those cars we bought and can’t find? CALIFORNIA SCHOOL SYSTEM: The California school system is 40% of the Budget. From the school system to the checks or from the writing of the checks is the (middle broker) then what does the school actually get? The amount each school gets is based on the # of students in attendance. The school is compensated approximately $5,000 per year per student. ELEMENTARY & JR. HIGH SCHOOLS: We will use the same system of $ per student per day. Then the Parents will vote on their school budget and hire their own staff based on the Parents/Students own evaluation of the Teacher’s performance (eliminating bad teachers) Then the Parents, and Teachers will be more responsible for the school and for the progress of the students and Good Grades~ The plus to this method is that you will save the State of ½ the money spent per student to educate them and you will have students with the highest grades. This method requires more interaction of the Parents and provides that the Parents will have more say in how their children are educated. (Books and Curriculum) For instance, if 2/3 of Parents vote to have the “Ten Commandments” taught in their school, they may do so without outside influence as it is their school, not the ACLU’s, not the UNION’s, not SACRAMENTO’s or BIG GOVERNMENT’s but the school belongs to the PEOPLE in that community. The Parents and the Teachers will work it out together and the school will operate just fine. The children will learn better as long as the Teacher is paid. YES! It will work and each school will be its own school district. In this way the Parents control the selection of staff members and will hire and fire staff until they get the best for their school. They could use a “3-strikes, you are out” rule, it’s their school and does not belong to anybody else. And if they don’t care then nobody cares about the children! HIGH SCHOOLS & COLLEGES: In the higher education students can work off their Tuition. Again the Parents will run the High School and/or Colleges. They will pay the salaries of the Professors and Teachers and other staff. They will decide the premise of the schools beliefs based on a two-thirds vote. If you want Legislators to tell the truth then you must teach the truth. Cut school bureaucracy waste. Schools are paid , approximately, $5000 per student, per year. The State will send a check each month to each school as the Parents and Teachers will run the schools. They do their own purchasing of supplies and repairs as well as payroll as a whole 2/3 vote carries their curriculum. As well as hire & fire because Parents want the best for their children. DON’T COMPLICATE IT! Just as folks pay their house bills, it is all the same. Just add some zero’s. The Parents know which teachers they want and the ones they don’t, and they pay what it takes to get Home Runs! And this way 1) saves millions of $$ and 2) the Parents are involved and can control who gets to teach their children and how much it will cost. BUILDING PERMITS:
California has everything we need to have a great economy we can set an example for the nation. The State is always ready to recover if we let it. Landlords of commercial and industrial property – Lease your property as low as you can go or rent month to month – NO MORE VACANCIES! This will help heat up the economy. CUT RETIREMENT BENEFITS: Cut Retirement Benefits for Police & Firemen and all emergency workers. But no Layoffs!
