Definition of Bureaucracy:

1. Government by many bureaus, administrators, and petty officials;

2. Excessive multiplication of , and concentration of power in, administrative bureaus or administrators

3. Administration characterized by excessive red tape and routine.

I would urge all who read this to look up the word in your dictionary. What it does not say, is the ‘meaning’ !  And that is, “If I have the money, I have the power!” And with that power and money, if you have no skeletons in the closet, I can bring you out of nowhere and have you elected.

This brings up three possible entities. The Democratic Party, the Republican Party, and shall we say ‘Ross Perot’ as an Independent.  (Billionaire)  The great deficient to this type of system is that in all reality, they will decide who will be nominated for election.  In the last election, Obama was put up as the presidential nominee of the Democratic Party, and through some slick maneuvering, John McCain was put up as the Republican Presidential candidate.  Although this method has held our country together for two hundred years, I am going to urge for more action in the Independent Movement to bring ‘unknowns’  to the general public.  The biggest benefit will be, hopefully, they are not puppets on a string, they are as free as the wind, and that freedom will bring honesty and integrity, is my prayer.  As in humanism, there are no guarantees.

As it is now, the far majority of our senate, and legislatures get the vast amount of their money from the unions and special interests.  Then you must call it the BRIBE, as any candidate who accepts the Power Money, becomes a ‘puppet’.  It was their dollars that elected me, and now I owe them a hundred fold! Large construction jobs, and that is anything that is millions or billions is pay-back time.  And this causes a need for higher taxes and higher interest rates on borrowed money. And it ends up with a simple outcome.  I don’t give a damn about the taxpayer or the economy as long as I have this governmental position that gives me the right to steal the peoples money and never get caught because everything we do is voted on and becomes law and that makes me a legal thief.  We give the government line workers less hours to work; and days off each week or each month, without pay, to cut the government overhead.  And, because I am so clever to do this; I will give myself a raise and when I retire from my government elected position my retirement will compound daily as to guarantee me to start my retirement at half a million dollars a year. But it is legal because the ‘majority’ voted for it!

When the Union supports a candidate with millions of dollars to be elected it’s ‘pay-back-time!”  They need thousands of government employees hired to pay back with Union Dues to retrieve their millions.  An example of how the bureaucracy works, the government will have a large warehouse built to house government bought vehicles.  And of course, all of this is accomplished with union employees, even union guards and union watchmen, and of course we have to hire a large  ‘accounting department’ to maintain this bureaucracy.  All of this ‘bean-counting’ and documentation, and watchmen and guards,  yet we cannot account for 350 government vehicles!  But do not worry, we will hire a large commission and each one will be paid between 100 & 200 thousand per year, to find out how this could happen and 2.) to prevent this from happening again!

The commission will ask for another accounting department to go over the accounting of the first department, and then another accounting department to oversee the other accounting department.  But!  Look at all of the jobs we have created.  Bottom line, the expensive union dues, the employees are bored, counting

the same items over and over again, as well they can still keep a smile on their face, as they just look at this large benefit package,  large medical package with sick days with pay, large vacations with pay, large expense accounts, automobiles furnished, with all expense paid, large conventions in Hawaii,   All transportation and expense paid, as well as lavish gifts to individual, who have big titles by their name; and of course we cannot forget the hard working union members, they get gifts too!  And that retirement package could not be sweeter. But we have hired thousands of government employees, even though it is not only sinful, it is a mortal sin to waste and legally steal the peoples’ money.

The bureaucracy of hiring more offices, commissions, and inspectors, has no end.  Because we never found the 350 government cars – to my knowledge!  And if it is brought up that they were not found, do not worry, the government will just hire another commission to look after the whole problem for a solutions.  The unions will only get richer with more employees paying their protection money to keep their jobs, for if you do not join the union, your job will not last. So, I call this ‘protection money’.

As your Governor, I will make a ‘state of emergency’ mandating that all government officials, elected or appointed, will have their pay, their medical benefits, and their retirement package reduced to the average private sector percentages.  And this will include no automobiles; no credit cards;  and no expense accounts. Reason: the State of California owes 150 billion dollar in debt! We have to get mean and we have to get lean.

Yes, with a 150 billion in debt we have to cut and cut deep!  This should never have to take place, if it was not for the government bureaucracy!  And they will scream, curse and swear that it is o.k. to cut expenses, ….’but not mine’.  It is o.k. to cut government, but not mine.  If the state of California is going to be an example for the nation on how to bring the State out of the second largest unemployment in the nation, we have to reduce Government spending!  We have to cut everywhere.  We can and I will, under the State of Emergency. I will reduce taxes to the barest. I will do everything I can to hold the price of gasoline to $2.00.  I will cut fees, charges, and taxes, because they are all the same. Every penny and every dollar we can put into the public’s pocket – will bring this State back to work.  Every large corporation, such as oil, insurance, construction,  and manufacturing, and many more,  that we can give tax free  as a starter, to have them operate in our state and bring back thousand  of jobs, to bring us back to a ‘hot’ economy.

Orange County will soon cut bus service by 8%, and that makes sense; ….on the surface only.  Why have an OCTA bus running a route that is empty?  The manufacturer wants that bus worn out, so they can sell the government a big fat contract to replace these busses with their new and improved models. The union is happy with these busses running around empty, as this creates more jobs for maintenance and drivers. It just has a bad smell to it.

Example: Our government recently promoted a man from Cal-Trans who was making $125,000 per year, and now promoted him the top CEO job of OCTA (Orange County Transit Authority) and that individual is now making $255,000 per year; plus, retirement benefits, medical benefits, sabbaticals, and so on.

Footnote:  Just to show you how we waste money, did you know ‘it is cheaper to run streetcars by millions of dollars because they don’t wear out.  The average life of a bus is ten years, and the average life of a streetcar, is over one hundred years.
